So, your child isn’t ready for scary costumes. Hey, at this age they can barely walk unassisted, so we’ll cut them a break. At least they can be the cutest kids around with these 10 great toddler costume ideas from talented AC producers like you & me.

Lightening McQueen- Everyone’s approved car. Your cramped one will love this non threatening and build believe friendly costume. Brought to you by Tabitha Easley. Tabitha gives us the scoop on pricing and what is included (and not included) with the purchase.

Ninja- This is a cheap, easy, and super chilly idea brought to you by AC producer Jamie K Wilson. I fancy ideas that are creative and frugal, and Jamie has her finger on the pulse of creativity! She also has lots of other cool ideas for toddlers mostly made from stuff you probably have at home.

Pez Dispenser- I have to say that my personal favorite is Jennifer Claerr’s homemade pez dispenser. How cool is that? She has many other ideas for your tot, but this one is cold enough to stand alone (no pun intended).

Bag of Jelly Beans- Really, really fun. Step by step instructions to perform this cute fest are supplied in mimphr’s well written piece.

Skunk- Tonia Jordan creates a picture of charm with her DIY skunk. Imagine your little cuties as Pepe Le Pew this year. This is another costume that won’t break the bank- you probably have most of what you need in your youngster’s closet.

Scarecrow- Lyn McCallister has a great article on how to create a scarecrow costume. The finished product is very cute as evidenced by her photos, and the article is concise and easy to follow.

Tootsie Roll- This was a new one on me, but what a cute idea! CelebMusicEntertainment has a lot of fresh ideas for little one wear. I love the plan of going trick or treating dressed as candy!

Policeman- GLorymomof3 has a great article on how to make Halloween less scary for small children. Aside from being a thoughtful article useful to moms, I loved this costume idea. Having children dress as people they recognize as nice instead of creepy can really add to the fun for toddlers.

Lamb- Deborah Baatz has a myriad of good plans for turning a sleeper into a costume. This one was my favorite for sheer cuteness. In addition to being a great outfit, it provides extra warmth for the smallest trick or treaters.

Dalmatian Puppy- This fun idea by Margaret Christy can go all the way from baby to pre-schooler. Add spots of black felt to a onesie or t-shirt for instant 101 Dalmatians movie magic.

These great finds will really liven up your toddlers wardrobe and glean them into the groove of Halloween smashingly. Again, these incredible AC producers show us that it just takes a little creativity to have a good time.
